In a world full of noise, I've made the choice to keep our connection simple, genuine, and personal.
I've stepped away from social media and will be staying in touch through email only.
Social media has given me many beautiful things, but lately it feels a bit like trying to have a meaningful conversation in a smoky casino. Everyone is talking, few are listening, and the noise never stops.
I'd much rather curl up on a comfy couch with a soft blanket, a cup of tea, and have a real conversation.
That's my style.
why write these letters?
Last week I was coaching a longtime entrepreneur who felt completely lost.
He's built successful businesses for decades, but everything that used to work suddenly felt uncertain.
Instead of giving him more strategies, we slowed down and listened.
The message he received surprised him: re-read one of his favorite books.
A few days later he sent me a note saying he was in tears. The book reminded him why he started in the first place, and that reminder gave him the clarity he'd been searching for.
It was such a simple moment, but it reminded me of something I've witnessed over and over during my 27 years as a coach:
Most of us don't need more information.
We need a safe space to hear ourselves again.
